Why families choose ChefCare
Every ChefCare advisor visits partner campuses each intake season. We have watched the practical classes, checked the equipment and spoken with the graduates — so our recommendations come from the floor, not a brochure.
Student stories
“I thought my SPM results closed the door on a diploma. My ChefCare advisor found a pastry academy that valued my bakes over my grades — and a bursary that covered a third of the fees.”
“They compared five schools for me with actual numbers. I picked one in Penang, got an RM 12,000 merit award, and I am now doing my internship in a hotel kitchen.”
“As a parent I had a hundred questions about fees and safety. ChefCare answered every one and never pressured us. My daughter starts her hospitality degree this September.”

Questions we hear daily
Yes. Our guidance, school matching and application support cost students nothing. Partner institutions compensate us when a placement succeeds, so our service stays free for you and your family — and our advice always starts from your goals, not any school's quota.
We partner with more than 60 culinary academies, hospitality institutes and universities across Malaysia — Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah among them. If a school you like is not on our list, tell us and we will still help you evaluate it honestly.
Absolutely. Most certificate and diploma programmes accept SPM leavers, and several partner schools weigh your passion and a short practical interview more heavily than grades. There are also pathways for STPM, UEC and mature-entry candidates.
Yes — more than most families realise. Partner institutions offer merit awards, need-based bursaries and industry-sponsored scholarships, and our advisors have helped students secure over RM 4.6 million in culinary study awards to date.
Certificates run 6 to 12 months. Diplomas typically take 24 to 30 months including a paid industry internship. Degree pathways in culinary management or hospitality run 3 years, and several diplomas transfer credit into them.
Your advisor prepares a personalised checklist, reviews every document before submission, sends the application directly to the admissions office and follows up until you hold an official offer letter.
We encourage it. Sessions run at our Petaling Jaya office, by video call or by phone, and we happily walk parents through fees, career outcomes, accommodation and campus safety before any decision is made.
